I see the same thing happened to the Canadian poet and publisher rob mclennan. His appeals have gone nowhere as well. I suspect you’re both being punished for too often posting links. Facebook increasingly doesn’t want its dwindling user-base even knowing that there are other websitees they could visit.

Unbelievable bullshit. I’d started drafting this as a Facebook post, until remembering that I had a blog that’s better suited for such things. I guess I need to remember that more often.

Thanks, Julie! I’m glad this resonates with your experience, and yeah, I think you’re right about ‘voice’. I always resisted committing to a unitary, identifiable voice, because I wanted the freedom to be able to write however I wanted or as a given project might demand. It’s for this reason that I often think of myself as a dilettante rather than a professional poet. Dilletantes have more fun!
